Need Help about Stats of my Blog

    Hey Guys!

    I am bit confused about my blog stats. I have Jet Pack Stats installed and also use Google Analytics. Problem is Jet Pack and Google Anlytics shows entirely different stats.

    Eg : Jet Pack shows 1800 pageviews and Google Analytics shows 3700 Pageviews and 1200 Unique visitors. so, which one is more accurate?

    Problem with the Google Analytics is that it shows extra visits and page view as it add up the Google crawling bots hits as natural traffic whereas most of the other services like JetPack does not count those bots visits but yes they miss some as well.

    The recent research shows that 61% of traffic is from bots. Try to measure traffic from number of sales, registration etc and compare it over different period of times to track performance.
