  • That error is caused when the variable in the preg_match pattern starts with an asterisk (*). It appears that one of your rewrite rules starts with an asterisk.

    Sorry, but there is nothing like this (*) at the page.

    and, there is no line 204

    Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the root wp-config.php & .htaccess files and the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    The problem is not in the page, but in the rewrite rules either in .htaccess, or added by add_rewrite_rule().

    Hi, here is my htaccess,, I think nothing wrong:
    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /blog/
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /blog/index.php [L]
    </IfModule>
    # END WordPress

    There is nothing to re upload, it´s all at the net.

    Try switching themes. If you are using an SEO plugin, try deactivating it. If that does not work, try deactivating all plugins.

    Switch theme, have no seo and no active plugin!

    And how did WordPress get up there in the first place? Who uploaded it to your hosting account?

    In which folder are the pages at the net?
