need header help

  • Once I added widgets the code in the theme editor sections is much different. I am looking at the tutorials on how to change your header image but they tell me to look for code snipets that I can not find. I have not been able to change the header. The tutorial tells me to find the following:

    #header {
    background: url(“<?php bloginfo(‘stylesheet_directory’); ?>/images/wc_header.jpg”)
    no-repeat bottom center; }
    #headerimg {
    margin: 7px 9px 0;
    height: 192px;
    width: 740px; }

    But that code is not to be found in my sidebar code. Can someone point me in the right direction? I’ve got the header image all ready and uploaded – I just can’t figure out where to insert its url. I’ve even used the Find function on my browser to look for those bits of code in the header file and nothing comes up.
    Thanks!

  • Look in the folder for your selected theme for the file style.css. Somewhere in that file you should find what you’ve been looking for.
