    Hi everyone,

I recently began a new website with the United Magazine theme. Now as a newbie, I really have no idea what to do. This is my current website: http://www.lluid.nl
And I want it to look like this:
    http://themeforest.net/item/united-modern-responsive-magazine-blog-theme/full_screen_preview/7440188
It's all so confusing. I love to see it working professionaly one day. I started this wordpress website so I didn't had to fight with html, but it seems like it's my only way out.

    HELP!

Hopefully someone who's also using that theme will be able to support you here.

  5. Hi Stolkie1,
I think that one of the first thing to do would be to add more content. It's really hard to get a sense of what a theme can do when there's only one or two posts. I would encourage you to add at least 10 different posts and pages with different size images.

Next I would also go to theme forest and read the theme's instructions. If there's a support forum on their site or if the author of the theme offers help of some sort, maybe go and see what folks are saying there.

Finally, I would also narrow down your question to smaller pieces. It can be overwhelming to put together any website regardless of the platform that you are using, but if you split it into small chunks it gets more manageable. So, for example, you could focus on the header, sidebar, etc...

One lat thing, with your theme being a paid for theme, unless someone has a copy of it, we can't really help. Volunteers on the forum can't go an purchase all of these themes, because we would go broke.

    Good luck.
