 * hello everyone,i feel like such a noob lol but i know i am in the right place
 * little about me,i am a computer networking major that has token a few website
   design classes and the basic html coding
 * i have a friend that wanted a website,i have watched alot of word press tutorials
   before hand,this stuff intrigues me
 * so i explained to him i no expert but i think i can do it
 * so far its been fun,i dont have much done honestly because i am waiting on him
   to get me the content
 * so i ran into an issue that i dont understand but is probably easy for you experienced
   guys
 * i am using the theme Tempera,.when i view the site i see the “home” tab but in
   my dasboard under pages there is no “home” page,only the pages i created
 * advice?

 * WordPress will display all the posts in the home if no home page is set.
    Go 
   to settings->reading->Front page displays
 * and select ‘A static page’ option and select the page you want to set as your
   home page.
 * if this does not work please check your theme options settings

 * If you dont’ want to see in the menu section the link to HOME, just go to Appearance–
   >Menus. Remove the home tab and save your new menu.
 * Anyway [@lara400](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lara400/) explained well
   how to set up a custom home page instead of the classic blog page.
