Need ability to select categories to subscribe in registration page

I am working on a site http://rb.blackbeardesign.com and the client wants the ability to select which category a user wants to sign up for when they are registering.

Are there any plugins, so that when a user hits register, they enter their name, email, username and select which categories they want to subscribe to?
