Is there a plugin that would allow me to pre-schedule the publishing of posts?

I run http://www.overheardinpittsburgh.com, and I fear I may not have as much access to a computer soon. If I could go to a library once a week and write and schedule that week’s posts, I could still post regularly to maintain my readership.

Can you please point me to something that might help?

  • You can post to the future. I’m just not really sure how, I don’t do it myself. Maybe search for “future date post” or something?

While on the Post Editor page, look over to the right column. Look for “Post Timestamp”. Hit the little white “+” to expand it if necessary.

See those time fields? Set ’em to when you want the post to appear. Important: Be sure to also check “Edit Timestamp” or your changes don’t happen.

Now, when you “Publish” the post, it’ll be saved with that timestamp. If the timestamp is in the future, the post won’t show up until after that future time has passed.

    Neato, huh? 🙂
