Need a gallery plugin with specific features

I’m new to wordpress, I need to upload images on my blog and these images must be in a slideshow gallery.

however for the sake of speed loading time and SEO I need to resize the images but I wish that upon clicking on an image, the full size image would be opened…

I’d rather not have it open in a different tab, but on the same gallery, just fullscreen. Like there’s a slideshow in the body of the article but upon clicking on an image it’ll open a full screen slideshow with the full size images.
I do not need the plugin to handle the compression for the images when displayed in the body of the article but it’d be good as well (since I won’t have to resize all of the images).

If there’s such a thing please help me out.
