Support » Plugin: Breadcrumb NavXT » navxt show RTL titles as LTR

  • hello John
I have some RTL posts that their post title contains <h1 style="direction: rtl; text-align: center;">xxx</h1>
The post title is seen OK on post page BUT in the breadcrumb, it shows the title as LTR

Is there anything I can do that for those RTL titles, the breadcrumbs will show correctly the post title as RTL?
    Thanks

Normally, for titles on posts (of any type), the theme will contain the header tag (e.g. <h1> or <h2>). To deal with RTL vs LTR in your titles, you’d use a <span> element instead of <h1>. After doing that, make sure that you are using the default breadcrumb templates (the ones that use %htitle%, essentially you want to undo what was done in your other support thread).

    Thanks,

just to update and for those having the same issue.
In my case it worked OK after using:

    <span style="direction: rtl;text-align: center;display: table;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;">xxx</span>

and, I needed to add some CSS to style.css in order to adjust the position of post’s breadcrumb while in a post page, since it got off the breadcrumbs line.

    Thank you
