my site is http://msnixinthemix.com and I had navigation tabs at the top. I have cyberchimps and neuro involved to support my theme, however, last night I lost all my navigation tabs. I am not good with code and I have been trying to figure out what the problem is. I did notice that under my appearance>menu the navigation tabs are still there but for some reason the theme location states my theme only supports 1 menu – this was not the case before. I installed the plug-in Twenty-Twenty Nine (I believe that is the name) but have still been unable to get the navigation tabs back. I created a test page “home” page and it is now where my navigation buttons were. I want to get my navigation buttons back and/or know how to create new pages for each of my old navigation tabs and transfer all the information over to the new pages and will this affect my site map for google webmaster tools, bing webmaster, etc.
Maybe you are confused about “menu” vs. “menu items” – 1 menu can have MANY items in it. Do you have a menu selected under Theme Locations?

No, when I select a specific menu, only that menu shows up on the main page of the site. I cannot get all the menus to show up as the navigation tabs.
But I did make a change, I selected a particular menu (reality mix) and it had all the menus and menu items that were my navigation tabs. I selected the previously stated as the menu header and everything came back.
