navigation panel broken on initial load

    This theme is so perfect for me. I am trying hard to make it work. I’ve deactivated and deleted every possible add-on looking for conflicts.

    There are two problems:

    1. NAVIGATION PANEL: On initial load the navigation panel is overwritten by what appears to be a page load
    2. SITE IDENTITY: The site title and tag line appear in the navigation panel instead of the main page
    2. TOGGLE BUTTON: The navigation panel toggle button is missing.

    Basically, the entire header for the main pages is missing

    NEITHER OF THESE PROBLEMS MANIFEST WHEN USING THE CUSTOMIZE SCREEN
