Excuse me - basic functionality does not work for me in WP 3.9.
I create roles using Members plugin.

    Intended:
role="world" => may see only "login" and "sample" - all are parent menu options
role="producer" =>may see login, sample and "producer" - all are parent options when he is logged in.
    Admin sees all options.

I log in as world and admin => all correct
but role="producer" does NOT see "producer" option even when
    it is set as
    Admin, producer "by role".

My understanding is that when "producer" is logged in, this will be be displayed.

    Thanks

I should mention: I had previousl Access plugin activated - now it is deactivated and roles were re-created.

Admins will always see all menu items because admins have the same capabilities as lower-level users... while the inverse is not true. If you need to restrict a menu item to a specific capability see this thread:

Thanks - I have another plugin conflicting here: Tools set of plugins (Types, Views, Access) and will need to stick to those.

Thanks helatheviking for your prompt advise.

As stated in the FAQ there's nothing I can do about conflicts until WordPress core is updated.
