navigation forward arrows on google calendar not showing

I have added my google calendar and put in the calendar ID and the API. It updated and showed an event that I added to the google calendar but not any events I have added since. My calendar is set to share publicly. Also, while the calendar shows in my site, there are no forward a month or back a month navigation arrows so that viewers can see events in the next months. I added an event in December to see if that would pull in the nav arrows. I have spent hours trying to figure this out. http://insearchofpuella.com/calendar-of-activities-events

Incidentally the events show properly when I use the imbed widget. Events are NOT showing up on the calendar properly.
