I am creating my school website and have encountered a serious problem. The navigation bar at the top of my pages (www.mrcmostaboys.edu.mt/wordpress) is not working and the submenus are not appearing when hovered upon. The thing is that once I log into wordpress dashboard they start working normally.

I have been pulling my hair out on this problem and surfing the forums but to no avil. Can anyone help?

    Thanks

  • There is a plugin called header-slideshow that seems to be creating a javascript problem

XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://mrcmostaboys.edu.mt/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/header-slideshow/resources/header-image-links.xml. Origin http://www.mrcmostaboys.edu.mt is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin.

When this sort of thing happens, other javascript based processes (such as navigation) may stop working.

Thanks Sandra, you saved my last few hair strands 😉 … it worked perfectly

@miopaniagua – it’s unlikely that your issue is the same – it’s really best to start your own thread –
