navigation at individual post level

  • Hi, I’ve created a wordpress site that has 2 pages, one that displays my portfolio posts and one that operates as a blog and displays all other categories. My problem is that if you click on an individual post so that just the individual post is displayed (where you can leave comments etc…) nav buttons appear above it that allow you to navigate forwards and backwards through all the posts. What I really want to do is exclude some posts from this (the portfolio category) does anyone now if this is possible? If not is it possible to disable this function, ie when you go to an individual post you don’t have the ability to navigate forward and backwards through posts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
    T

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I’m pretty new to wordpress and have spent the last few days splitting the pages using various widgets and plugins and have loved the progress i’ve made thanks to this support forum. But this is the only thing i can’t find the answer on here too… its the final hurdle!!
