• Hi comunity!

    I have a little but persisting problem. As you can see if you scroll down in my page, the navigation arrows of the carousel appear as little white squares.
    It is the same if you click on an image: the cross button to close the window shows as a square..

    It is the same problem for all carousels in my website.

    I work with Elementor.

    Thank you very much!
    Clément

  • I have the same problem. Tried to find version 1.7.1 somewhere but no luck.

    Either way, quick fix is to:
    1. themes\oceanwp\assets\fonts\fontawesome\css
    2. Edit all.css and all.min.css
    3. Change “Font Awesome 5 Free” and “Font Awesome 5 Brands” to “FontAwesome”

    I think is a bug. In the Font Awesome documentation, no icon have the code “f10c”. The corresponding icon have code “f111”.
    This problem also affects the “custom links” widget.

    Thank you for your quick answer!

    Please could you explain me step by step how to do that?

    I’m a beginner and I don’t know how to properly modify the css.

    Thank you again

    So Gianluca how could I fix this? Thank you!!!

    @clemzoo23 Hi,
    Do you have theme and elementor updated to the latest version?
    Then go to: Elementor > Tools
    and click on “Regenerate css” and “Synchronize Library” and Save.

    Yes I have Elementor 2.7.5 and everything is updated, css is regenerated and library is synchronized…
    i’m getting mad 🙁

    clemzoo23
    Edit .css files in Notepad, find “Font Awesome 5 Free” and “Font Awesome 5 Brands” and rename them to “FontAwesome”.
    It will fix the problem.

    @clemzoo23
    I see that the Eicons library returns 404 error when loading. Try reinstalling elementor to see if it restores that css file.

    If you have a cache plugin like W3 Total Cache, WP Fastest Cache etc, delete the cache.

    @serpher
    The problem is that in his case, the css library is missing. Watch the debug console.

    Concerned site: https://mybanto.de. (Only from a desktop as the menue is switched off for mobiles and tablets)
    Same Problem: After the update to the newest version of OceanWP today (Nov 7 2019) the arrows in the Elementor nav menue that indicate that there is a drop down menu are replaced by a rectangle. Elementor->Tools regenerate/synchronize doesn’t solve the problem. Any ideas? Any other method but uinstall/re-install elementor?
    My wild guess is that the recent forced fontawesone-migration by elementor and the newest OceanWP version are not perfectly in sync.

    @yesiamroot

    This is exactly the problem. Unfortunately, many users are experiencing different problems and it is difficult to provide solutions that are valid for everyone.

    We hope that they resolve as soon as possible with an update.

    I am having the same issue. The right chevron arrow things in my navigation show as squares now on all 10 of my websites since updating to 1.7.2.

    Shame that you can’t find 1.7.1 version of OceanWP. My temporary fix was to change it to FontAwesome.

    @ftpwp Thank you!
