Navigate posts by year…

Hi,

I’ve been working with a pagination system for my posts: http://callmenick.com/post/custom-wordpress-loop-with-pagination

It works really well, and I’m quite happy, however, I was hoping to extend the code a bit by allowing the user to navigate my posts by year, as my posts range from 2010 – 2016 – is there a way to implement a list navigation? i.e.: when clicking on a certain year, only the posts that pertain to that year are displayed:

– 2016
– 2015
– 2014
– 2013
– 2012
– 2011
– 2010

By going to the specific year, only the posts within each year are displayed, and the user can then paginate within the posts within that specific year… not sure where to start, so thought I’d start by posting my question here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
