Is the glossary-terms shortcode documented anywhere?

I’m wondering if it’s configurable to not link to separate CPT pages, and just list the terms and their content in the list displayed.

It’d also be nice to have a alphabetical linked navigation at the top to jump down to the first terms in each letter.

Basically looking for a compact single page that displays all terms and definitions with a simple alpha navigation.

  • You are right there is no docs about shortcode:

You can already chose to have a classic cpt page with a option picker for that page.

Well this is not easy because there are site with many terms so will be a long long page to load and also with an automatic scroll it’s not the best feature for usability.
There is a widget to get a list alphabetically that enable to see a page with the terms that start with the same letter.

    Thanks for the reply.

Found that option. Is the “option picker” you’re referring to jus the setting to enable the /glossary archive page, or are there other settings for it?

It would be nice to expand the shortcut to allow for a full list with no links and each item’s content showing. For sites with just a few dozen terms it’d be very useful.

Didn’t know about the widgets. I’ll give those a try.

Hi @mpmchugh. We just added the alphabetical shortcode in the PRO version of the plugin in order to accomplish what you asked in this thread. You can find an example here: https://codeat.co/glossary/shortcodes/

    Thanks for reporting!
