Nav Menu Roles not working!

    hello, on my website this plugin does not work for the first time. I simply will not see any options, even though I’ve selected everything in the view.

    What can I do?

    Are plugins known that bite themselves with the plugin?
    Like Kirky?

    Please read the FAQ specifically the section “I don’t see the Nav Menu Roles options in the admin menu items?”

    I haven’t heard of the Kirky plugin and don’t have an exhaustive list of known conflicts, but presumably you have a conflict with either your theme or another plugin.

    You can then try some of the Workarounds listed in the FAQ.

    I told the Theme Developer the Problem and I currently use your NMR Toggle Plugin… it works!

    Yes.

    Because the Theme uses the Menu Walker Classes for the Mega Menu and thats the Problem.

    But now everything is fine and the Developer will change the Walker Classes.

    The Workaround destroy/overwrite any custom Menu Settings
    Not a good solution if you have a Menu already
    Loved this Plugin for many years since most custom Theme work with some kind of
    menu walkers.
    Tried NMR Toggle as suggested
    have to find some other solution

    That depends on the source of the conflict. If the other plugin/theme deletes its meta when not present, then yeah switching it will be problematic. That safest approach is Workaround #1, actually patching the conflicting Walker. Until WordPress adds a hook here to core (only been waiting 7 years) there’s nothing I can do about the 1 Walker limitation.
