Nav bar background colour wanted

I’m trying to set the Gateway Plus Nav bar background (Customising>Colors>Navigation Colors>Set the colors for the navigation bar>Navigation background), but it seems ‘stuck’ on transparent (see http://www.trueprogress.co.uk/demo & scroll down the page). The customiser does not show a colour change in preview either. How can I get the background to change? Ta
