[Resolved] #nav alignment help

  • in header.php I see the wrapper, header, and nav ids, and I moved the nav around to see if I can get it at the top of the page, and I did. it is in the header now. but, I want to make the nav move down a bit so it is flush with the wrapper background image. but when I change the nav margin, it makes everything in the wrapper move down too. so I tried moving the nav id above the wrapper id so it wasn’t inside it, then changed the margin of nav, but it still moved everything. so I dunno what to do. is this something anyone can help me with please?

    I’m using the css gallery theme by osdesigner, which I’m modifying.

  • you want to add padding, not margin.
    try this, but mess with the first padding number til its just right

    #nav {
    	height:37px;
    	margin:10px 0 0 0;
    	padding:40px 0 0 0;
    }

    oh my, how could I have forgotten about the padding, lol. thanks a tone! that ended so much confusion!
