• I enjoy Gutenberg. I enjoy using it, I enjoy the concept, I enjoy its future.

I have used Live Writer to blog for 10+ years and it’s been rather lovely.

I would very much love to have Gutenberg as a native OS app, allowing me to publish rich posts even more effortlessly.

My understanding is that we have a ridiculous amount of local processing power. We should use it. Gutenberg works fine in a browser, but I can see how a lot better it would be as a native app: smooth typing like Word, offline bliss (that is, not wondering if everything loads correctly due to a bad internet connection, which is something that unfortunately still happens, also people with bad internet), possibility to zoom in and out of blocks to edit them better, more shortcuts possibilities and customizations, etc.

Is it technically possible or not at all? Is it in the work? Do you guys need help?

Gutenberg Native Suite. It has a nice ring to it.

    Cheers,
