# National Basic theme layout edit

 * Hi, I’m newbie and need help on editing the National Basic theme for my web hikmahbersama.
   or.id . At the moment I have 3 questions:
 * 1. The footer widget only comes in 1 column (too wide), while on the demo theme,
   I see the possibility of having 4 column. How can I have that 4 column footer?
 * 2. How to remove or edit the “the x theme by xxx” ?
 * 3. I need the look of a 2 column layout. Right now, the post shows categories
   and comment counts on the left side of the post. This make my web look like it’s
   3 column. I’ve tried the using remove meta plugin, but it hides everything (author
   and date as well). I want the post to have author and date. All I need to hide
   is the column on the left of the post. I don’t mind having the categories and
   comment counts if they’re positioned next to author and date (below title), as
   long as they don’t show up next to the post, as if they’re in a separate column.
