    Hey,
if I or anyone else publishes an event on my site, the name of the publisher is not shown for people that watch the event. I set, that the events are shown as an “article” on the site, not as new new “page”. Do you have an idea, where I can change this, so the publisher is shown for everyone?
In the settings I couldn’t find anything about it…
    Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

just to confirm, is this in the frontend single events page? if yes, another thing you can try is to duplicate your theme single.php to single-event.php while setting your single events page to Display As Post.

Yes it is. The copy of the single.php I have to create via FTP, do I? Where or how do I set the single Events page to “Display as post”?

Are you trying to show the author of the event, or hide it?

In many themes, posts will show the author of the event along with date of post, category etc. and in events we usually don’t want to show that, or have more control over where it’s shown.

Looking at your site, I see no author name, so I assume you want to show it. For that, you’d want to use something like the placeholder #_EVENTCONTACT in your event page format.

See our documentation list of event placeholders and info on how to use them.

Hi, yes, thats what I look for.
Could you please show me, where to add the placeholder exactly, when the username of the event host should be displayed next to the title? Following you find the basic coding of the event page:
    Thanks!!!
