Hi Diamond2,
sorry for my late answer. I’m not sure what you are trying to achieve here.
Do you want to import all your forum entries to the Name Directory plugin?
If so, and you want to use CSV, you can use the CSV import functionality using the WP-admin.
* Go to the Name Directory settings page
* Hover over the directory you want to add to the page.
* A few options should show now, like Delete, Manage and Import – see screenshot for a settings-example https://ps.w.org/name-directory/assets/screenshot-2.png
* Click ‘Import’
* Select your .csv-file
* Upload
You can add names, descriptions and submitter entries, just the first column (name) is required.
Good to know: the first row is always ignored (they should be headers). You can download an example file at http://ps.w.org/name-directory/assets/name-directory-import-example.csv
I hope this answers your question, if not, please don’t hesitate to reply
Thanks for your response.
But not exactly. So I specify my question : I imported the same csv file to create the forums that to create directories in the plugin.
After the insertion of the shortcode in a page, I see well the alphabetical list of directories but the name of forum which appears under a corresponding letter is not clickable. I cannot thus click above for access in the forum.
Hi Diamond2,
do you have a link/url for me? I still am not certain what you mean. This plugin is not a forum.
hi,
I just want a directory to display and acces my forums.
Here is a link.
You can see that I can’t click on a name (ie balan) to access the formu “balan”

hi Diamond2,
I’m sorry but you are certainly not using it as it was designed.
But, if I’m understanding correctly, you want to make the Name in the directory Clickable, to go to another page (your forum)?
If so, you can do this by making links in the description of the names, those are HTML-editable. So if you know your way in HTML, that shouldn’t be a problem.
Kind regards,
Jeroen
