I have a shop where people can order several products however the id of the gravity form has no relation to the id of the woocommerce order. Ideally I would like to be able to have the filename of each of the files be the woocommerce order item number followed by _x where x is the gravity form id.

So for example say the gravity id is 12345 and the woocommerce order item number is 24680. The end result I would like to have generate is f__t_24680_12345

Currently in my naming I have f__t_00000_12345 where 00000 is a manually entered number and 12345 is the gravity id.

Hi there,

It doesn’t look like the WooCommerce Gravity Forms plugin adds a merge tag to access the assigned Woo Order ID, so it’ll have to be done in code.

You’ll want to utilise the gfpdf_pdf_filename filter to dynamically control the name of your PDF: https://gravitypdf.com/documentation/v5/gfpdf_pdf_filename/

You can get the Woo Order ID from the entry with gform_get_meta( $entry_id, 'woocommerce_order_number')

No problem. Add the code to any of the usual WordPress locations:

1. (Child) Theme’s functions.php file
1. Custom Plugin
1. Must Use Plugin

Thank you for the help. I’ve since changed direction and I’m using the GFAPI to set it on order completion.
