    Hi Mike,

    Thank you for reporting this.

    This seems to be a rare bug which we didn’t manage to replicate yet. Could you PLEASE let us know which WP version, and which PHP version you’re using?

    Regarding the basic copy functionality not working: that’s also unusual. How exactly did it not work? Did it give you an error message?

    Please help us to debug this. Thank you!

    (If you spin up a WP site here https://tastewp.com/new you’ll see that usually it works flawlessly – so there must be something specific happening on your site)

    Hi Nick,
    The versions are WordPress 5.8.4 and PHP 7.2.34.
    I’m aware these are not up to date, but it’s an inherited project that I don’t have authorization to update yet.

    Regarding the copy function not working, I believe it did flash an error message, but it was quite generic and didn’t allude to the actual problem.

    Hi @mikehealy, we tried to replicate the issue on the exact WP & PHP versions which you are using, but couldn’t, it’s always working as it should. We suspect it’s a conflict with a plugin of yours. Could you PLEASE provide a list of plugins you’re using? Then we’ll try to replicate it with those. Thank you!

    Hi Mike,

    Thank you for that list.

    We tried to replicate it, but couldn’t. We assume the issue is in one of the premium plugins you’re using (we don’t have access to those), or maybe also one of the outdated plugins which you didn’t upgrade, there are a few of those, see https://docs.google.com/document/d/18oMpu-GFf2QReLQfMfKW7sPvTjXMwtf4CVfeNiVAQFo/edit?usp=sharing.

    As that makes it very hard to debug, we suggest the following: could you please observe if it happens on any other site of yours? If it does, then we can look at the overlap of plugins used, which may narrow it down.
