Hi, Warren
Are you saying that the banner comes back even after you dismiss it? That shouldn’t happen. Please let us know if the banner is not working as intended.
Thanks!

Hi @lclarke yes thats correct!
I have deactivated it while working in the dashboard because it’s getting so annoying and will reactivate when I finish and log out.
Its a brilliant plugin though apart from banner, which only recently appeared.
Thanks
Warren
Oh, I’m sorry to hear that! That is not how the banner is meant to behave. Once you dismiss it, it should go away. When you have a moment, can you create a ticket through our client area or by sending email to support@litespeedtech.com
? We’d like to dig into this a little deeper so we can fix the issue.
Thanks!

Hi Lisa, no worries, I’ve just emailed the support@ address above with some more info.
Thanks

Just in case anyone else is experiencing this problem, I thought I’d share the solution.
The Disable All setting in the Debug tab was set to ON
. This had the effect of also disabling the mechanism that allows you to dismiss the notifications.
If you have notifications that won’t dismiss, please check your Debug settings tab and make sure that you haven’t disabled all LiteSpeed functions 🙂
Hi @rabbitwordpress,
Sorry for the inconvenience. We just improved this part by bypassing all banner if enabled Disable All
in Debug
tab. The commit is in https://github.com/litespeedtech/lscache_wp/commit/0c25d9bb5b29cad3d8dd7a546e9696ef3e8a851d and will be included in next release.
Thanks for your feedback.
