The nag: ‘Please set the Genesis Twitter Widget Settings.‘ appears even if the widget is inactive.
I recommend making the nag active only if the the Genesis Twitter Widget is an active widget. As it is now, this persistent, un-dismissable (is that a word?) nag is confusing to an already overwhelmed new user before they even know how to use widgets.
I agree this nag is essential if the widget is active, but it is irrelevant noise until then. Additionally, it’s pretty hard to miss the setup message when the widget is added to a sidebar/footer.
P.S. Nice job updating to the new API. I tried to do it myself, but failed miserably, so I appreciate you guys putting in the time.
