# [mystique theme] header float

 * I want to ask how can I adjust how my header float, i mean adjust the space between
   the header and the navigation menu on my mystique theme?
 * i want it to look something like this:

 * Very difficult to say without a link to your site. Even looking at the mystique
   theme is not guaranteed to help because of any changes you might have made. So
   if you can post a link, it would be a great help.

   I’m using an image header with a transparant space.

 * It looks fine to me. The navigation menu is at the level of the cartoon figure’s
   thigh. I tried it in FF, IE8 and IE7.

 * Actually, I just put an allowance on the image header so that there is will be
   a space between the header & the navigation.

 * I have uploaded the original header on my website ([zenhonbuph.net](http://www.zenhonbuph.net/)),
   just to show what is my problem with the header.

 * Aaaargh!
 * The html uses eight line breaks (`<br>`) to inject vertical space. This is not
   the way to do it!!!!
 * So the first thing to do is to get rid of the line breaks. Then we can use CSS
   to do the job properly.
