Hello. I am using the Tesla theme Blogojoy on my website at Ninja Doggy Inc, and recently I have noticed that a white rectangle has popped up to the right of my pages. But I have no idea or don’t remember how it got there or how to remove it. This is annoying me because it squishes my posts.

I think I checked all the options, and I can’t seem to find out how to toggle it. I have WordPress version 4.4.2.

  • Looks like an empty sidebar. There’s no templates for posts so you wont be able to change the template to a full width.

Did you change anything in the sidebar recently?

Nope, I haven’t done anything that involved sidebars. I also didn’t install any sidebar plugins either.

    Hi Sebastiansk,

Check once disable the all active plugin.

I don’t think it’s a plugin issue, it looks more like a template issue where there is no sidebar content. Unless there’s a plugin that hooks into the sidebar for some odd reason.

If it’s a template issue, do you know any good in-depth instructions out there on how to rid myself of it?

Ahh! After months of scratching my head, I didn’t realise there was an option at the bottom of each post in Edit mode that allows you to specify whether or not you want a sidebar on the right side. Though it’s sort of an ironic ending considering that I have found a use for the right sidebar. But nevertheless, thank you all for your help.
