What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?
Have you tried disabling “Email Encoder” to see if it’s causing the issue? Looks like a hidden field, and it could be a conflict with the recaptcha, CF7, and that.

Have you tried disabling plugins one by one to see if it’s another?
I’d start with WP Rocket and Asset CleanUp: Page Speed Booster… rule out cache script combining.
Then relevant / similar functionality. Perhaps “Login No Captcha reCAPTCHA (Google)” then WP Cerber.
Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, and clearing all cache data.
Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.
Hi Takayuki, You were right… It was due to the latest version of the WoodMart theme, which I just installed yesterday. I restored the previous version of the WoodMart theme and the problem went away. Thank you for your assistance. It is greatly appreciated!

Im facing the same issue. When I updated from 6.0.6 to 6.1, then the weird field appeared. But when I downgraded to 6.0.6 again, the field disappears. And the theme Woodmart Version: 8.1.2 (not latest)

WoodMart released a fix, You can update
Hi @reservedaily,
I contacted XTEMOS (WoodMart theme developer) and told them about the problem.
They emailed me back and said:
“Update the theme to the latest version, then navigate to WoodMart -> Patcher -> and apply 670481 patch. Recheck the issue and let me know.”
So, I updated the theme to the latest version.
However, the problem did not reappear – so they must have fixed it (and I didn’t need to use the patch).
Hi @takayukister
Hi @reservedaily
I spoke too soon…
When I received an email back from XTEMOS, I updated it to the latest version of WoodMart, since they said they had a patch. The issue disappeared, so I thought they fixed it (and didn’t need to use the patch).
However, I saw that Contact Form 7 had provided an update (Thank You @takayukister), so I updated CF7 and the problem reappeared.
To be clear, the problem might still be coming from WoodMart (whereby it took some time for the issue to propagate).
So, I tried using the patch suggested by XTEMOS, and that still didn’t fix the problem.
I notified XTEMOS that the problem is still happening; and left the latest version of the theme installed in case they would like to inspect the issue on the following page: https://it-specialists.ca/contact-us/
I will keep you both posted with the response from XTEMOS.
Hi @takayukister
Hi @reservedaily
Rookie mistake!
I forgot to clear the cache in WP Engine, WP Rocket and Chrome.
After I cleared the cache, it started working properly…
Everything is good now, and I’m using the latest version of WoodMart.
