# MySQL WP tables

 * Hello everyone,
    I have just downloaded WordPress (2.6.3) and I came across a
   problem. I have created a database “database_name” and then filled in the required
   database connection information to wp-config. After doing so, i ran the install.
   php file, but it returned an error which said something like table “database_name.
   table_name” does not for query “query”.
 * I just tried to make these tables manually, and gues what : )) It worked fine
   untill WP needed to fill in some new data to other and other tables (amazingly).
   It would be a bit frustrating to create all the tables manually (there are hundreds
   of them :D)
 * So, does anyone else have the same problem ?

 * The install.php script will **create** the database tables and poplulated them.
   You may need to give us an exact copy of the error message you experience.
 * Make sure your host meets the [minimum requirements](http://wordpress.org/about/requirements/).
 * If you continue this thread, please state your Operating System, Webserver, PHP
   version, and MySQL version.

 * Thanks for reply. I knew that the install.php script should have created the 
   database tables, but that did not happen. After I read you post, I tried to run
   the instell.php file again, and it worked fine. I am sure that I did it the same
   way as in the morning.
