    Hi there,

Just installed and am experimenting with ClueVo. The following message is displayed on the dashboard: “CLUEVO LMS requires a MySQL server version of at least 5.6. You are currently running version 5.5.5.” etc.

I’m actually using MariaDb (a fork of MySQL) which displays as version 10.3.21.0063 (running on a Synology NAS server). As this is the latest version offered by Synology, is this an acceptable alternative to MySQL 5.6 and what are the implications if I do not change.

    Thanks

    Hi ianmp,

this is a limitation on how WordPress reports the database server version. It seems to report mariadb as mysql 5.5.5 by default.
You can safely ignore the warning as long as you have a 5.6 equivalent version running, which it seems like you do. There shouldn’t be any issues.

    hi eeprom_one,

    thanks for your kind words!

We have fixed the MariaDB issue in the upcoming 1.5.0 version of the plugin that should release either later today or tomorrow.

What exactly is the problem with your module? Did you upload your own scorm module and replace the demo module in the learning tree?
