# MySQL Issue?

 * This morning, I logged into my site and found that it had suddenly exploded in
   size. My SQL DB’s increased in size dramatically (at least that’s what it looks
   like). However, when I go into the phpadmin to look at the tables, it shows the
   table sizes are only 1.4 MB, while the size of the whole DB is over 500 MB.
 * My site admin believes I might have gotten “hacked,” but I’m not quite sure how
   or why. Anyone know of any wordpress vulnerabilities that might cause the DB 
   to suddenly grow in size or display one size in one place and another in the 
   tables section?

 * Try to optimize your database (use phpmyadmin)
 * Usually it ’caused by plugins like broken link checker, STT2, visitors log, etc.
