MySQL internals related to WordPress 3 POSTING

  • I am looking for detailed information on the MySQL tables and fields that are modified when making a blog posting in WordPress 3.

I need to know ALL of the files and tables that are modified in the posting process. Some will likely be internal WordPress items that WordPress itself handles. I need to know those also.

    Thanks,
    geogordon

  • No files are modified, just the DB. For the changes that happen, have you considered backuping up your DB, then making a post, then backing it up again? If you delete all the areas where they are the same, you should be able to spot the changes easily.
