  • I’ve a website which has been up for over a year and a half now, and suddenly it is getting the following error.

Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.

I’ve had a look around, on wordpress but this error for me seems to be oddly caused.

Firstly – the server is on Linux.
Secondly – if we reboot the server the issue goes away.
Thirdly – The issue comes every few days at random.

I’ve no access to my php.ini file, but can pass any info onto my host.

Any ideas why this error would occur at random and then go when we reboot the server?

    Thanks,

    Versi
