# MySQL database setup

 * don’t laugh…. i just downloaded wordpress to use, and although i have been a 
   web designer, i’ve never done code other than minor html…. so how do i set up
   a MySQL database so that it is ready to accept the installation?

 * okay, i just spoke with hostgator, did the whole install through them. they support
   word press……
 * i’ll have other questions though, so i’ll try and figure this out on my own and/
   or post on the forum.
