    Hi everybody!

I have a question that has became a problem because I don’t have enough expertise to solve it. I have a MySql database that I need to import posts from to WordPress database.

Does anyone knows how can I do this without the expert knowledge of PHP or SQL?

It is a database created from rss feeds. So it is basically a xml file that has been imported to the database but I cannot obtain original xml file. Is there maybe a way to reverse the procedure.

Maybe to export rss xml from database?
    Please help me!!!

  • If it is not wordpress data you have in the database, exporting and importing it into a wordpress blog might not be so easy since the format is different. So you either need a valid RSS-feed or have somebody do this for you.

    Thanks for the reply…
The database are not both WP structured so it is not an easy task and I know that but I know that it can be done. I have a script that is developed for this purpose but it doesn’t do the job 100%. It gets the posts from one to another DB but they are not included in the post count. They are slightly different.
Is there somekind a tool for this?

Still I have no clue what kind of script you are using, that’s the problem. But you can update the post count manuelly maybe?
