mysql connection by WordPress 1.5 ?!?

    Does anyone know if there are plugins or themes (or anything else) why the mysql-connection is closed prior to ending wordpress??
    The reason why I ask this is the trouble in the Quote of the Day plugin I wrote that uses the mysql-connectino of wordpress.

    On my system / server (and with others) it works great but you never know offcourse 🙂
