My wp won't connect to the wp database

    I’m using http://www.biz.nf/ hosting provider, it worked fine at first, but now when I try to search for themes and plugins in my dashboard it refuses to connect to the wp server.

    How do I fix this?

    This is the error message I get:

    “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

    This is bad because I really need a webcomic plugin.

    Did this hosting provider give you FTP access? If so, you can download the plugin and just install in your wp-content/plugins folder via FTP.

    If you were able to install plugins and themes before and this has just stopped, you may also want to ask your hosting provider and see if they can help.
