• I installed wordpress and it said everything went well. The only problem is my wordpress has no style. It looks like a website with zero CSS, or plain text. I need help because its horrible to use like this.

  • And your site would be located at???

If this is an upgrade from 1.2x to 1.5, you should have edited your existing index.php as per podz’s guide. You should double-check the whole thing to avoid any other problems, but the stylesheet edit is covered in the fourth section, “Prepare Your Files”.

    website is http://kosbba.com

I am not upgrading from 1.2 The actual website has CSS, but wordpress does not.

Looks like the default theme to me…

At that address I see a brand new installation of WP running under a Kubrick theme.

    Have you used CTRL F5?

I am not sure what the problem is really.

Me, too. jk0170, maybe your browser cache needs refreshing? Or did you just do something?

Like I said before. My WEBSITE has CSS style. The problem is my WordPress does not have any style. If you go to the about section on this site and look at the screenshots, mine does not look like that at all. Mine looks like a website with zero CSS.

OH! Your Administration Interface has no style. Try clearing your cookies and browser cache. If you’re on a PC, hit Cntrl-F5.

Also, do you have a wp-admin.css file in the /wp-admin/ directory?

Under the Safari menu, hit “Reset Safari”, or if you have Firefox, clear it of all cookies and clear the cache then visit your admin interface. Is it the same?

If neither of those work, delete the wp-admin.css file and upload a new one from a fresh WordPress download. You are the only one experiencing this issue.

I can replicate your screenshot by renaming my wp-admin.css to something else.

Check your page source to see if you have a stylesheet link in the header, that it’s pointed to ‘wp-admin.css’ and that the link is correctly punctuated.
