  • My site looks exactly right when i open it an firefow, but when I open it in internet explorer it doesn’t. I have tried many different things to get the sidebar to actually go on the side, but i just can’t get it. The original sidebar in the theme just had a php list pages, but i wanted to use these buttons I made, but when i put the buttons in the sidebar moves to the bottom in Internet explorer.

    My site is: sojournfellowship.com

  • I found that using Internet Explorer on a Mac fixes the problem. 🙂 Or just get the whole world to dump Explorer (or Microsoft) and go with FireFox or something – that seems like the better solution. 🙂

Seriously though, I’ve had lots of problems with Explorer, especially on Windows. It always seems it is because Microsoft doesn’t follow the standards. They also have PNG transparency messed up.

The most common problem is when people post long URL’s in comments. These break the bounding boxes for the post area shifting stuff around. Bad, Billy, Bad!
