My WordPress Blog was hacked
My wordpress blog was hacked, after November 2008, so that the theme got changed. In the upper left hand corner, above the new theme, are the letters dssfaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
and I cannot login to the site to make changes, to remove spam, and so forth.
I have the site backed up, and even the old theme, and would like to resurrect it. The information (about IBS) is still good.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to repair this? I can, of course, access the backend, but it’s not a matter of finding the password in the data base. The problem is, I cannot get to the login page to ENTER the password.
Any suggestions on where to go from here?
I wish I could tell you the version; it is a Tn old version, not updated, but I think it’s after version 1.x, but not much later. The lack of updates had to do with my bonding to the look and feel of the blog.
Thanks in advance.
