    Yes. That means that someone from the IP was trying to login to your WordPress for 2676 times using the admin username. It seems more like an automated brute force attack with such a high number of attempts.

    In very short, if you have a strong password and do not use the default username, you are already one step ahead.

    Try Limit Login Attempts plugin if you are on a shared hosting, or WordFence if you are on VPS/Dedicated.
