    (maybe) useful infomation:
1, The average page load time is over 60 seconds when activating the plugin(that’s true!). After deactivating it, the load time turns back to 0.xx seconds.
2, I am running wordpress in a VPS located in China (This may be useful, because the server in China may have trouble connecting wordfence’s resource links)
3, I am sure that while loading the page, the cpu usage, the VPS’s disk IO , memory usage, network connection, …. all of these parameters are very healthy. The server only runs a single wordpress website, and I have the root permission.
Can you tell me a method to target the main reason? Thank you.

    Hi @powercliff,

The connection with the VPS in China sounds like it could be the issue in this case. We have seen blocks before with users unable to update their firewall rules or make other required connections to blacklist updates etc. with a server based in or involving China as part of its setup.

You could check whether there are failures reported on Wordfence > Tools > Connectivity for Connecting to Wordfence servers and/or Connecting back to this site that might illustrate that fact.

You could send us a diagnostic from this page if you wish to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

Note: For the fastest response time, please make sure and add any information or questions directly to this topic and not the email address above unless asked.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I resolved my problem by migrating my website to a hosting located in Japan. Anyway, thank you very much.
