I’m pretty new to WP but it didn’t take me long to find out how bad free themes can be for your health. I just installed TAC 1.5 knowing full well I have been experimenting with a theme from Padd Solutions (known to contain very dodgy footer links) on my local dev site and yet TAC is reporting the theme as OK.
Before we go any further, I’m getting an error message in the rendered footer of my dev site as follows which I’m also trying to unpick:
Warning: gzuncompress() [function.gzuncompress]: data error in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\tincredible\includes\required\template-top.php(1) : eval()’d code(1) : eval()’d code on line 49
I’m looking into what’s causing this error above so apologies if this is the cause of TAC failing to spot the bad theme, but should it?
