 * Hi there,
 * My web designer’s recently added a translating section to the sidebar of [http://www.rapnews.co.uk](http://www.rapnews.co.uk)
   and since then, the site loads with the sidebar menu displaying way below the
   top, where it should be.
 * When I hit refresh, the sidebar is back in place. I’ve tried this on a few different
   computers and resolutions, and it’s a consistent problem. I’d be greatful if
   anyone can offer a solution.
 * Cheers.

 * It seems to happen on IE but not Firefox.
 * When I have seen this before it is due to a div tag that has not been closed.
 * Tried to look at your site in the W3C validator at [http://validator.w3.org/](http://validator.w3.org/)
   but it shows your site with 57 code errors.
 * Suggest your web designer corrects these first before anyone else looks for the
   issue you raised.

 * youre missing his point regarding validation. Your site is a compendum of files,
   an open tag doesnt necessarily need to be in the specific file youre experiencing
   issues with.
 * the validator clearly indicates that whomever is doing your site needs to take
   another look. that may or may not fix your problem, but that IS the first place
   to start.
