My search doesn’t work

    For the last few months my search function doesn’t work on WordPress.

    I’ve tried deactivating all the plugins, I’ve used different themes. I’ve searched and searched for a similar problem here and elsewhere to no avail.

    Now I’ve even installed a fresh version for a different part of my site. That one doesn’t work either.

    They don’t work on Firefox or IE.

    I regrettably admit that I did use Fantastico to install both, but why would the search not work and everything else work?

    When you search, it returns the homepage.

    On Firefox, I also cannot view images in the Media section of the admin. But on IE I can view the images. I’m talking about clicking “View image”, that also returns the homepage in Firefox.

    There’s been a few updates of Firefox AND WordPress since this started happening.

    Is it my computer or something?
