  • Hello WordPressers,

I attempted to install “Image Banner Widget”
( ) which is a plugin that you activate, then configure the widget, then save it and it displays the banner.

I am using the “LoseMyMind II” template
( ), and successfully installed the banner that I wanted to install, however, it appread at the bottom of the sidebard instead of the top. Additionally, the menus that I usually have on the top of the sidebar went to the bottom of the screen too.

So I uninstalled the “Image Banner Widget” and then I didn’t see the sidebar menus at all – they seemed to have vanished.

I went to my file manager and deleted all of the files under that theme and re-FTP’ed the template hoping that would fix the problem but it didn’t.

I was able to just create new widgets on the sidebar for everything except for RSS subscriptions, however, I don’t see a widget to re-create the “Subscribe To Feeds:” section which I need to get back and had prior to this issue (which you can see in the screenshot of the template).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If it’s easy to fix that’s great, if not perhaps I can offer someone a couple of bucks to fix it for me if you give me a quote.

    Thank you,

  • you can always place them specifically where you want them by editing the sidebar.php file,

also try reinstalling the widgets and plugins, and an automatic reinstall of wordpress to look for an easier quicker solution

Thank you 🙂 I’ll check it out!
